How I can help

At Inner Vision Therapy I offer you a unique blend of counselling and hypnotherapy. You will have the opportunity to talk in confidence in a safe, trusting environment. From personal experience and from working with clients, I have found that talking therapy really helps, especially if you feel you haven’t been truly listened to before. I will help you find your voice and learn to love yourself for who you really are. Sometimes a particular issue is causing distress and hypnotherapy will help you change how you think and feel about the situation and yourself, allowing you to live a calmer, more confident life. You may choose to see me for counselling or hypnotherapy, or we may decide that a combination of both therapies will help you the most.


Counselling can help you make sense of the way you are feeling and help you find ways to move forward. In my experience, talking to someone who is trained to really listen and understand can make a big difference to how you feel about yourself and your situation. Whatever is troubling you, counselling can help you to make sense of the things that you are finding it difficult to cope with. Talking through your difficulties can help you to deal with painful thoughts and feelings, and can be the first step towards making some positive changes and taking back control of your life.


Hypnotherapy can help you take positive steps to change unwanted habits, sleep better, stop smoking, feel more confident, lose weight while eating more healthily, manage your anxiety or shake off that phobia. In my experience, you will feel calmer and more focussed with every session. Hypnotherapy is a natural and safe process, and you are always in control. I will guide you into a state of deep relaxation, and then give you positive suggestions and ideas specifically tailored to the positive changes you wish to make.

Face to face counselling

We will meet person to person in one of my comfortable and private counselling rooms. I will listen to what is troubling you and help you to understand the thoughts and feelings you are having.

Together we can explore the difficulties you may be having, how they are affecting you, and find ways to move forward.

Hypnotherapy in FY6 and N13


Hypnosis is a relaxed state of mind you can enter into where you are much more receptive to outside influences and suggestions that can change how you think or behave.

Using various relaxation techniques I will guide you into this relaxed state and give positive suggestions to help you change unwanted habits or ways of thinking.

Online counselling and Skype counselling in FY6 and N13

Online counselling

I also offer face to face counselling via Skype. This can be a good way to continue your counselling if you find it difficult to travel to my counselling rooms.

I usually recommend that we meet at least once before continuing with online counselling, but this is not always necessary. Please contact me to find out more.
