I woke up this morning feeling stiff and achy in my back and hips and couldn’t do my usual exercises. Felt a bit low. Then I decided to do some exercises specifically for my hips and although it hurt at first, everything eased up and I felt so much better! Why is it sometimes so hard for us to do something simple for ourselves? This little act of kindness to myself has completely changed my mood 🙂

Be kind to yourself! Read a book, go for a walk, phone a friend, take a bath, light a candle, listen to some music, eat chocolate or make your favourite sandwich. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, it’s the small things that mean a lot and make all the difference.
